Heller five-axis CNC machining equipment has entered operation at the Gall Thomson technology centre in Great Yarmouth, UK.

The state-of-the art FT400 CNC machine will deliver planned enhancement of Gall Thomson production capabilities and was purchased as part of a comprehensive investment programme that is designed to consolidate Gall Thomson’s technical and commercial market leading position.

Technology centre head of operations Pat Webster said: "The enhanced precision engineering and production capability provided by this technology will deliver many additional benefits to our customers."

The commercial results for the first six months of 2014 confirm that the Gall Thomson expansion strategy is delivering expected results.
